Web Art.
Part of Czechmania.
UHuman plays on the idea of capatchas, those text based tests that ask us to prove we are human. This takes it one step further, with the computer asking whether the user is really human. The sting in the tail is that those who pass actually fail.
This project was part of the Atypi open brief for Czechmania, celebrating Czech history, and it's joining of the EU. I was interested in the boundries between communication, particually with e-mail, where users have to complete little tests to see if they are in fact, a human or a bot. This was linked to various events in Czech's history.

Different Incarnations of the CAPTCHA.
UHuman is set up as a test to check if you are indeed human, you are invited to take a test.
The Test takes the form of a CAPTCHA, to complete the test you need to come up with an original thought related to the word.
If you pass the test you are greeted with lines from Czech History.
If you pass, then that actully means you fail. You see, Uhuman is a tool for filtering out original thought.
